It was a good start for Banza Ltd when it distributed 10 banza toilets to people in Mathare informal settlement area. The people selected had a wide range of needs including physically challenged individuals. The feedbacks from the people we visited was very encouraging. One of the physically challenged individual (with spinal injury) we visited said the banza toilet provided comfort and convenience to their house. He explained how difficult it was for him to help himself before the introduction of the banza toilet.
A mother with six children we visited felt that the banza toilet would address the problem of insecurity of women and children. It could be concluded from the feedbacks that the Banza toilet is a valuable addition to the homestead.
